The Rides Of Life

aight, back from Liverpool.... it's not that bad
the people there speak with a welsh accent.... weird
well, to me, the people there are not as friendly as the people in London
but who cares, i'm only there for 2 days.......

first, i went to Anfield Stadium, the home of the KOP
co-incidentally, they were holding a memorial service for the liverpool fans who lost their lives at Hillsborough Stadium
was the exact day and month, April 15th. but it happened in 1989.....
the liverpool players were there too! caught a glimpse of them....
renee was like more excited then i was.... cuz she wanted to see Jamie Redknapp
but i forgot to tell her that he was sold to Tottenham Hotspurs.... hehe
but hey, i got into the stadium free!!! normally, a tour ard the stadium would cost 4.50pounds
ahh, the feeling is magical.... too bad i can't catch a game there..... then i would die happy....

then checked out the city abit, and headed to Nandos for dinner
that brach just opened and everything on that day was free!!! woohoo!!!
Penappa, Renee and I ate like pigs.... lucky us.... haha
first, free entry to Anfield Stadium, then free dinner.... what's next? hehe

today we went to a Anglican Cathedral called the Liverpool Cathedral.....
oddly, the design was created by the Catholics and vice versa.....
it's huge!!! massive!!! love the interior..... really nice
and we managed to get all the way to the top.... shoik view of liverpool!!! =)

then, took a 3 hr train trip back to London.....
damn, 3 more days and i'm back to SARS land, Singapore.... haha
oh well, i'll enjoy it while it last....
